»ã±¨ÄÚÈݼò½é£ºOLED-based displays are likely to replace LCD displays in many applications including mobile phones, digital cameras, potable electronics and TVs. Some small sized matrix driven OLED displays are already available in the market. However, there are still challenges that need to be addressed. These include reducing the production cost, improving the lifetime, enhancing the visual contrast, and integrating OLED displays with TFT backplane and flexible substrates. Recent progresses made in the TFT backplane have advanced the technologies for application in OLED TV. This talk will discuss the opportunities, challenges and advances in OLED display technologies.
