»ã±¨ÌáÒª£º Comics are very popular all over the world. The Japanese manga is a type of comics that emphasizes on layout and character expression. It is very popular in the Asian countries, particularly among the teenagers. In this talk, I will describe our earlier work in automating the manga layout process and our current work along this direction.
»ã±¨È˼ò½é: Rynson Lau received his PhD degree from University of Cambridge. He has been on the faculty of Durham University, City University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is currently with the City University of Hong Kong. Rynson has edited a number of journal special issues and served as conference and program co-chairs of a number of conferences.
