(2)Why is rhetoric cross-disciplinary? (3)How does rhetoric find its way into other disciplines? and then attempt to suggest some directions for rhetorical research. In a nutshell, this lecture touches upon not only theoretical issues of rhetoric, but also its practical application, particularly in discourse analysis.
