    The topic of the presentation will be the introduction to the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics and Applied Mathematics (ICTEAM) of the Universit¨¦ catholique de Louvain (UCL), Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
After a general description of the University, ICTEAM will be described: the research areas, the experimental facilities, the impact on publications and on industry and the presence in the international community. A few success stories will be highlighted. Examples of research results transferred or to be transferred to industry will be discussed.
