 Yue Li is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University. His current research interests include metamaterials, circuits, and antennas. He has authored and coauthored over 120 journal papers, including Science, Science Advances, Nature Communication, IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation and so on, and holds 18 granted Chinese patents. He was the recipient of the Issac Koga Gold Medal from URSI General Assembly; the Second Prize of Science and Technology Award of China Institute of Communications; the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Beijing Municipality. He is serving as the Associate Editor of IEEE TAP, IEEE AWPL, MOTL, and Scientific Report.

¡°0¡± is an interesting number, as an extreme quantity opposite to ¡°¡Þ¡±. In the study of electromagnetics, based on extreme parameters, can we invent or develop new techniques to have infinite property? In this talk, we will talk about a class of extreme-parameter medium, named as epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) medium, and some interesting techniques with some infinite characteristics are proposed and discussed, such as doping method and antenna design.
